Malopolska Days

Małopolska Days in Brussels

5-16 September 2010

A bit of rest and relaxation on a treasure island bench? Perhaps a spin on a merry-go-round? Why not touch the sky on a swing? This year Małopolska fulfills the dreams of carefree childhood. Regional toys, set in Parc du Cinquantenaire are a unique opportunity for an inspiring play with design, ethnography and folk handicraft from the Małopolska region.
Those tired of the city noise can relax listening to the sounds of the region and Fryderyk Chopin’s compositions. All it takes is to hold one’s ear close in the sculpted ears, exhibited in Flagey, to hear the composer’s works or learn the sounds of Małopolska. Chopin’s music, this time in a different, folk arrangement will also be present at the concert. Well known compositions, played with authentic, traditional instruments are attractive not only to music lovers.

Time for an unforgettable meeting with the Małopolska Region.
